Prashanth Neel’s KGF Chapter 2 is an upcoming Indian Kannada-language period action film written and directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner Hombale Films. It is a sequel to the 2018 film KGF Chapter 1.
The film is the second installment of a two-part series—Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, and Prakash Raj star.
The technicians from the previous film were retained for Neel, with Bhuvan Gowda handling cinematography and Ravi Basrur scoring music for the soundtrack and the film’s background.
The film will be released in Kannada theatres on 14 April 2022, along with dubbed versions in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam. With a budget of 100 crores, it is the most expensive Kannada film.

Rocky becomes an uplifter of people struggling at the KGF by assisting and fighting for them, understands the changing dynamics between politicians and gangsters in the gold business, and must face Adhere’s greatest foe.

KGF Chapter 2 Storyline
KGF: Chapter 2’s teaser was released a few days ago. Since then, fans have been developing their theories about the story. The story’s climax, KGF: Chapter 2, will feature an epic battle between Yash and Sanjay Dutt in the Kolar gold mines.
KGF: Chapter 2 will pick up where KGF: Chapter 1 left off. In the first installment, Yash’s Rocky becomes the messiah for the Kolar gold mines. Rocky will fight for the people in the sequel, eventually facing Adheera (played by Sanjay Dutt) in the climax.
Rocky, Yash’s character, promises his mother that he will not die in poverty in the first part. The makers of KGF: Chapter 2 promoted the film by saying that the ‘promise will be kept.
The second part will also examine Yash’s understanding of the shifting dynamics between politicians and gangsters in the gold trade.
